Think snacking is the enemy?
Turns out, snacking the right way can be your biggest ally, so it’s time to savvy up on snacking smart.
It’s not about just mindlessly eating chips and candy. Snacks are a really important fuel source. A well balanced diet can improve your athletic performance by as much as 20%, and snacking is a key component of that!
Studies show that up to 45% of female athletes may experience energy deficiencies due to inadequate fueling. In addition, being chronically under fueled can lead to an increased chance of injuries, slower recovery and healing time, chronic inflammation in your body, and could lead to female athlete triad syndrome.
