Do you set New Year’s resolutions?
This year, approach it the ‘smart’ way to achieve them.
“Say goodbye to vague goals like ‘I want to get healthy.’ What does that actually mean? It’s necessary to get specific.” ~Kristen
Studies show…
45% of Americans typically set resolutions, but only 8 to 20% of them actually achieve them. 75% of people maintain their resolutions for at least a week, which drops to 46% of people after 6 months.
So the odds aren’t great.
But here’s what’s interesting … did you know that people who write down their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them?
Among popular resolutions such as saving money or getting organized, the most common one is… you guessed it – losing weight.
So what’s the best approach for how to actually achieve this?
Watch as I explain:
- How to get a clear vision of your goal.
- The process of working the Smart Goals model (and why you should!)
- Why putting parameters around your goal matters.
- My example of breaking down each step of the S-M-A-R-T process with the goal of losing 20 pounds in six months.
