The 17-year-old half brother of Norwegian legend Alexander Kristoff has signed his first World Tour contract even though he still has a season remaining in the junior ranks in 2024.

Felix Ørn-Kristoff, who has enjoyed significant success for Norway already, has signed for Intermarché-Wanty, who plan to start him in their first team from the beginning of the 2026 season.

He claimed the bronze medal in the junior men’s road race at the World Road Championships in Glasgow last year as well as winning all three stages, including a TT, and the overall in Nation’s Cup Hungary (2.Ncup).

The Kristoff brothers, who share the same mother, both work with the same coach, Stein Ørn, who is also Kristoff Jnr’s father.

Felix Ørn-Kristoff will continue to race as a junior this year and will spend the 2025 season with the Wanty-ReUz-Technord before joining the Intermarché-Wanty team for 2026.

“This is a strong signal for the future. Felix is an exceptional talent, both in sprinting and hard races,” Intermarché-Wanty said. “Like his brother Alexander, he has that hardworking mentality. We developed a clear and realistic long-term plan to help his development step by step.

“Following in the footsteps of Madis Mihkels, Francesco Busatto and Alexy Faure-Prost, Felix Ørn-Kristoff is the next international talent to join our structure, which we continue to reinforce.”
