The team says “we are working through the process of applying for a UCI Continental licence for our Women’s team in 2024. A process which will bring our team in line with the Saint Piran Men’s Team and we are very much looking forward to seeing where that takes us, our riders and the Saint Piran name.”

The team also unveiled the bike that their riders both in the road and MTB team will be riding this season. “We are beyond excited to announce our partnership with Bianchi. The road team will be on the Oltre XR4 with the MTB team choosing the Methanol FS 9.2. It is a brand with a fantastic history, proven quality and an unmistakable presence. Our bikes will be teamed up with wheels produced right here in Cornwall, Pacenti Forza Carbon Wide paired up with Schwalbe Pro One TLE. We think the combination looks absolutely stunning and having had a successful 2022 with this combo, we know we can race with confidence and pride.”

“We are incredibly proud of where we are, the support behind the team and the plans that we are beginning to implement are testimony to this structure and we cannot wait to continue to share our journey

The team also announced that they have a new team manager. David Walters. “An individual with a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to push this team in the direction that we know it can go in – a huge warm welcome to David Walters!” says the team.
