The UCI Cyclocross World Cup is returning to Dublin next month and now you have a chance to work at the event and possibly go behind the scenes when some of the sport’s biggest stars are on Irish soil.

Many of the best riders in the world are expected to travel to Dublin for the World Cup racing, which will be held on the Sport Ireland Campus in Blanchardstown on Sunday, November 26th. The elite men’s and women’s events – as well as the junior and U23 races – are part of the World Cup.

Cycling Ireland has said it is “seeking registrations of interest for a host of volunteer on-course operations positions such as marshalling crossing points, pit area stewards and start-finish stewards”.

Cycling Ireland members, aged 18 and over, can register for the volunteer positions before October 31st.

You can register your interest in becoming a volunteer by following this link. Anyone who registers their interest and is accepted to work as a volunteer will be provided with full details closer to race day.

Irish cycling fans are hopeful that the biggest stars of the sport – Wout van Aert (Jumbo Visma), Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) and Tom Pidcock (Ineos Grenadiers) – will be back in cyclocross action next month and will come to Dublin to race.
